  • NPF and DNA Psoriasis Symposium

    The NPF and DNA Psoriasis Symposium will allow nurse practitioners to gain a deeper understanding of psoriasis treatments and learn how the National Psoriasis Foundation can help you and your patients.
     
    This joint symposium was developed to educate nurse practitioners about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and the art of treating psoriatic diseases. The educational program will include sessions on comorbidities, biologics, phototherapy and special topics such as special considerations, safety and psoriatic arthritis.

    *Please note this program is being offered to Nurse Practitioners as a separate program and not associated with the official DNA convention. The NPF and DNA psoriasis Symposium, a one day event will be held at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. This program will be submitted to AANP for continuing education and pharmacology credit.

Attendees can earn up to one nursing contact hour for every hour of educational time attended providing they complete an evaluation for each session. Evaluations should be completed online during or after the convention. This includes the concurrent sessions from Friday, May 1, 2014, to Sunday, May 4, 2014.  The learner may earn up to 14.0 contact hours within the General Program.  More if Pre-convention workshops are attended.

Accreditation Statements

     Dermatology Nurses' Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by
     the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

      Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP5708,
      up to 14 contact hours.

The NP Forum and sessions within this program will be submitted to the AANP for continuing education credit.

The Pre-Convention Educational Workshops and the Nurse Practitioner Forum will be awarded contact hours separately, with the hours noted next to the description for each workshop.

Contact hours may also be awarded separately for commercially supported educational symposia, if available.
